If you’re like me, you also spend hours scanning reddit forums, watching youtube videos, and following instagram hashtags planning for the next trip.
We stayed in the Alfama area near the water about 20mins from airport via taxi/uber. This area was great to walk, although heavily sloped. I would suggest staying on the top for the views. Other areas, churches, look out points, and castle(s) are all within walking distance.
